GAPA CLASSIC
Under the title “GaPa Klassik”, GaPa Kultur gGmbH organizes its seasonal concerts between September and May with a series of symphony concerts in the Kongresshaus, a chamber concert series in the hall of the Richard Strauss Institute and other extraordinary special concerts. For many years, the Munich Symphony Orchestra and its chief conductor Joseph Bastian have been an integral part of cultural life in Garmisch-Partenkirchen with four subscription concerts per season. The popular programs of the symphony concerts not only promise unforgettable concert experiences, but also create cultural education and identification.
The hall of the Richard Strauss Institute is also extremely popular with both audiences and musicians, as it is ideally equipped for chamber music performances and allows guests to have direct contact with the performers. Whether song, solo instrument, piano, trio or string quartet: the formations of the chamber music series always offer top-class and varied programs for music lovers.
