NEEDS IN GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN
FROM FOSNACHT AND FESTIVAL WEEKS
In Garmisch-Partenkirchen, customs and traditions live on. Highlights include the “Fosnacht”, a colorful carnival with traditional larvae and parades, as well as the cultivation of traditional costume - dirndls and lederhosen are an expression of regional identity.
Throughout the year, the locals celebrate numerous festivals where music, folk dancing and old customs take center stage.
FOSNACHT
