Hike around the Pflegersee – via Kellerleitensteig and Kramerplateau
This round tour leads you from the romantic Pflegersee to the panoramic view of Kellerleitensteig as well as over the Kramer plateau. This is a nice tour for you and your family. It is also perfect for Nordic walking.
The starting point is the parking area near the Pflegersee where you will start in the direction of the lake. At the public swimming area you will find an information board that will help you to orientate yourself. Now, follow the signs to Grasberg/St. Martin to the left where the Kellerleitensteig continues slightly ascenting in a westward direction. This path offers great panoramic views of Loisachtal Valley. At the intersection following the wooden bridge at the Maxbrünnerl well, simply follow the signs in the direction of Garmisch. A winding path and some steps will guide you back down to the Kramerplateau path. Now, turn left in the direction of the Pflegersee. Above the Schmölzer Lake you will arrive at and cross the street. If you follow the footpath that runs parallel to the street in the forest it will guide you back uphill to the Pflegersee.
