Trail Running
Tannenhütte-Josefsbichl-Panorama
Fantastic trail running circuit at the foot of the Wank. You can expect two smaller uphill sections and a challenging climb of approx. 1.5 km. You will be rewarded for your metres in altitude with a beautiful downhill section and a sensational panorama.
From here, the route continues on tarmac for a while on Professor-Michael-Sachs-Straße up to Hasental. On the large hiking map, you will see the signpost to Tannenhütte on the left. From here, the route continues only on gravel paths and tracks.
The 1.5 km and 150 vertical metres up to the Tannenhütte are challenging, but you will be rewarded with an impressive panorama. Crossing the almost 40 metre high Hacker-Pschorr bridge is also a highlight of this tour.
After the terrace, head left downhill on a varied trail, but make sure you don't miss the turn-off to the right to Josefsbichl. Use the following flat section to recover a little before heading uphill again at the forest clearing on the right.
Once at the top, the gravel path only leads you downhill, past the "Auferstehung" and the "St. Anton Panorama" to the pilgrimage church. The loop ends here and you can reflect on the tour over the last few metres back to the car park.
