The big tour to Lake Walchensee
Circular tour through very varied terrain, some stretches take you along busy roads.
From the main entrance of the station, go straight across the intersection in front of the town hall to Partenkirchen. After the chapel of St. Sebastian (Sebastianskircherl), turn left into Münchner Strasse and follow it until you reach the end of town towards Farchant. Continue on the state road B2 through Farchant and then via Oberau to Eschenlohe. In Eschenlohe follow Garmischer Strasse, turn left at the large bridge and follow Murnauer Strasse, which takes you back onto the state road B2. After approximately 3 kilometers, after the autobahn bridge, turn right to Ohlstadt. Ride through Ohlstadt, pass Schwaiganger on the left and carry on to Grossweil. In Grossweil, follow Hauptstrasse, after the tourist information, turn right via Kocheler Strasse towards Schlehdorf and Kochel am See. From Kochel, you will take Kesselbergstrasse past lake Kochelsee on to Walchensee. Then continue on the state road 11 through Wallgau and Krün. From there on, take the state road B2 back to Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
