This year, winter in the park shines in new splendor: the traditional Christmas market is moving from Richard-Strauss-Platz to the idyllic Michael-Ende-Kurpark, inviting visitors to relax, stroll, and enjoy themselves. For all ice skating fans, there is a sparkling ice rink where young and old alike can take to the ice.
In addition, impressive light art transforms the spa gardens into a winter wonderland, and there is a varied evening program with local bands and artists. Look forward to a wonderful Christmas season full of atmosphere, music, and festive highlights – right in the heart of Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Opening hours
WINTER AT THE PARK
Regular opening hours are daily from 12 noon to 9 p.m., with the ice rink open for hire daily from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (except on days with delayed opening times).
Special opening hours:
Sunday, November 23 (All Souls' Day holiday): 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., only restaurants and bars open, retail stands closed
Wednesday, December 24: open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Thursday, December 25: completely closed
Friday, December 26: open from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Wednesday, December 31: open from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Thursday, January 1: open from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
