IDEAL CONDITIONS FOR PARAGLIDERS ON MOUNT WANK
The Wank is one of the most thermally active mountains in the region. As you float gently through the air, you can enjoy the view of the green, lush meadows of the Ester mountain range and the rugged rocks of the Wetterstein massif. Impressively beautiful!
The airy adventure starts in the immediate vicinity of the "Sonnenalm" mountain hut. After the ascent with the Wank cable car, you will find the take-off points for paragliders at the "Wankhaus".
VIEW THE GROUND FROM THE OSTERFELDERKOPF OR KREUZECK
Unforgettable flights are also guaranteed from the Osterfelderkopf or the Kreuzeck. No matter whether you want to glide gently, take advantage of the exceptional thermals or fly for hours over several peaks. There is something for every taste! The Alpspitz or Kreuzbahn cable cars take you up the mountain in comfort.
Tip: For experienced paragliders who are particularly keen to fly, we recommend taking off directly from the Alpspitz summit.
