As soon as the snow conditions allow, we take advantage of the glistening winter wonderland of Garmisch-Partenkirchen to go snowshoeing. On our tour, we learn about the advantages of snowshoes and how this activity is easy for the joints of your body. Hiking through the snow-covered winter landscape is an impressive and almost meditative way to experience winter.
CROSSBLADE TOURING - THE NOVELTY ON SNOWSHOES
You go uphill with climbing furs under your snowshoes, and when you reach the top you simply change the fure to a ski base with edges. The snowshoes can then be used to ski down into the valley (mountain boots or touring ski boots as well as ski boots or snowboard boots fit into the binding system). Try this new sport in snowshoes!
